I have many fond memories of Alice and the kindness that she showed my mother and father through the years. I know that she will be missed by her family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss and am thinking of you all. Lamentations 3:31-32 For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. ~ Suzanne Clary Curran, Plano, Texas

We lived down the street from the Lows in the 1960s, and I was about the same age as their kids. We all attended Crutchfield School and Piner Jr. High. I remember Mrs. Low was always involved in anything that called for parents' involvement: Cub Scouts; PTA; choir concerts; class Christmas parties, refreshments, field day, you name it, Mrs. Low was there and a vital part of it. If all kids today had as much parental involvement and interest in their lives as she did, the world would be a lot better place. Thank you, Mrs. Low and condolences to your family. ~ Peter Phillips, Leonard, Texas
