Allen Ray Folsom age 62 of Leonard Texas passed away at Red River Regional hospital of Bohnam on Saturday Dec. 10 2011. Visitation will be held at Dannel Funeral Home on Wed. Dec 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Holloway Cemetery on Thursday Dec. 15 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor James Crawford of Cornerstone Baptist Church will officiate. Allen was born July 6 1949 in Claremore Ok to Allen Edward Folsom Sr. and Evelyn Frances (Pierce) Folsom. He was educated in Oklahoma schools. Allen served in the Marine corps from 1968 to 1970 and was in the Marine Corp Reserves until July 18 1974. He was a Vietnam veteran. Allen later worked in the Sherman Foundary and retired from his job as a steel worker. Allen is predeceased by his parents Allen and Evelyn Folsom and stepfather Thomas Holloway sister Delois Cummings. Allen is survived by his companion Wanda Napier daughter Kristal Gayle Folsom of Sherman sisters Joann Auldriges of Cartwright Ok. Faye Gabriel of Sherman. Several nieces and nephews. Allen is also survived by his dog "Hank" whom he was very fond of. Pallbearers will be Stacy Gabriel Steven Folsom Stuart Ackley and Derrell Cummings.
