Obituary For Amber Nicole Parum

A gathering for Amber Nicole Parum will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Dannel Funeral Home.

Amber was born into this world on October 14, 1993 and her light shined so brightly for 31 years. Amber was called to her Heavenly home Friday, January 31, 2025, leaving her earthly home surrounded by her family.

Amber spent her career working in the healthcare profession serving others needs and striving to make the world a better place. She will be greatly missed.

Amber is survived by her mother, Debra Vanzetten of Denison, father John Cato and fiancé Erica of Sherman; 3 brothers: Brandon Cato and wife Alyssa of Sherman, Cody Vanzetten and wife Kasi of Denison, and Tyler Tarpley of Sherman; sister, Samantha Hodge and husband Johnathan of Sherman; 2 nieces: Maleah and Maci Cato of Sherman; 3 nephews: Luke and Aniken Vanzetten of Denison and Aiden Tarpley of Denison; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louis and Janet Morgan, and Ronald and Patsy Lewallen.

    I will love and cherish all my memories of Amber growing up. My whole childhood was spent with Amber as a sister not a cousin. We used to argue over who was the pink power ranger and who was Xena or Gabrielle. We would pull all nighters and watch movies especially Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen twins. Fly high baby girl you deserved so much better.
