Send Flowers Andrea Orrick February 2, 1953 - August 15, 2014 Andrea Orrick, 61, life-long Denison resident, passed away Friday, August 15th, at Texas Health Presbyterian/WNJ. A reception and Celebration of Andrea’s Life will be hosted from 6:30-9:00 pm Tuesday evening, August 19th, at The Denison Golf and Country Club. Andrea was born February 2, 1953, in Hamlin, Texas, to Andrew Oden and Willie Young Oden. She attended Denison schools. She was co-owner of Blue Streak Industries. Some of her favorite activities included working together with her close friends in her home garden. They were affectionately known as B.U.G.G.’s (Bottoms Up Garden Girls!) She loved nurturing her plants and flowers. She was also always ready for a shopping get-away with friends, and loved entertaining and cooking for guests in her home. She dearly loved her pets ‘Max’ and ‘Pepper’. Since her wedding date in December 2001, nothing could top spending time with her husband, Larry Orrick. Andrea leaves behind her loving husband Larry, her business partner and very close friend Kenny Walton, and a family of loving friends and faithful employees from her many years in the Denison/Sherman area. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored by memorial donations to Meals On Wheels at 4114 Airport Dr., Denison, TX(75020), or online at www.mowot.org or any local charity of donor’s choice.
