Obituary For Andy Glen Crabtree

Services for Andy Glen Crabtree, 67, of McKinney, who passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Homestead of Sherman, will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Dannel Funeral Home Chapel in Sherman. Pastor Leland Samuelson will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Andy was born on August 6, 1951 in McKinney, Texas to Andy Arthur and Vessie Lee Crabtree. He attended McKinney schools and graduated from McKinney High School. Andy had several jobs before finding a home at Fisher Controls for 38 years. In his spare time, Andy loved watching movies and TV. He loved his solitude and kept his own counsel. If you reached out for advice, he was always good about giving his time and being honest. Everyone who knew Andy loved him. He loved his family and was devoted to his mother. He was a unique person and a free spirit. He will be greatly missed.

Andy is survived by sisters Sandra Inge of McKinney, Peggy Hankins of Crossroads, Texas, Donna Telford of Denison; brothers Randy Crabtree of Durant, Oklahoma, and Jerry Crabtree of Sherman. You may sign the online guestbook at www.Dannelfuneralhome.com.

    andy was my first boss when I went to work at Fisher Controls. We both worked there 30+ years and would see each other daily..He was a good guy and always spoke to you wherever he saw you. Rest in Peace Andy Sherry Warren

I miss you and love you beyond words...You made it to that beautiful better place as you always referred to Heaven, there is such a void in the lives of all your loved ones left behind, for you was truly one in a million...You were always there to listen to me and give me advise, just knowing that I will not be able to call you and hear your voice is so heartbreaking...I was so blessed to have you for my brother...I had the greatest brother in the world..You was always an angel and now you've gained your angel wings...You told me just last week that you didn't want me to cry and be sad, but to hold onto the incredible memories and all of the happy times...You always made sure we had loads of them times...Ever since I was 4 our yearly trips to Six Flags, Waterparks, Concerts, Overnight Visits , Movie Nights, Chats I will definitely hold on tight to all of the incredible memories...I will definitely see you again on the other side..You are gone but you will never ever be forgotten...I love & miss you Big Bro Fly High With The Angels, Shine Bright...Love Always & Forever...Donna Kay
