Anita S. Brown, 61, of Sherman, died Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Georgetown Cemetery near Pottsboro. Rev. Terry Brown, of Victory Life Church/Sherman, will officiate. Anita was born December 8, 1953, in Frankfort, IN, to William and Betty Altice Cunningham. She received her Associate's Degree from Grayson County College. She loved to knit and loved listening to music. She was also a lover of cats. Preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, Anita is survived by her sons: Bruce Criswell, of Corsicana, Doug Criswell and wife Blythe, of Sherman, Lee Criswell and wife Christina, of Anna; brother, Kevin Wright, of Frankfort, IN; sister, Stacy Riley and husband Pat, of Rock Hill, SC; 4 grandchildren and a host of friends.
