Arlin Cecil Thompson age 92 passed away April 25 2012 at Clyde Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 28 2012 at United Pentecostal Church in Savoy Texas. Bro. Virgil Cornwell will officiate. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. one hour prior to the service at United Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at Macomb Cemetery in Whitesboro Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Mr. Thompson was born on June 26 1919 in Westminster Texas to Henry B. Thompson and Ada May Hanna Thompson. He served with the United States Army in WWII. He retired from maintenance at Wilson N. Jones Hospital and was a service station owner for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents wives son Cecil Franklin Thompson and brothers, Charles Thompson Jim Thompson Lewis Richardson Elmer Richardson Emmett Richardson sisters, Edith Thompson Ruthie Thompson and Letha McBurnett.
