Barbara Chadwick, 57, of Sherman, passed away Tuesday, May 13th at her daughter’s home in Forney. Her family will receive friends Friday, May 16th, from 7:00 – 9:00 at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17th, in Dannel Funeral Chapel. Rev. James Crawford and Scott Morgan will officiate. Interment will follow immediately afterward in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Barbara was born April 1, 1957, in Carthage, TX, to Richard and Ethel Wilcox Hohenberger. She was raised, attended school, and spent most of her adult life, in Sherman, TX. She was always a hard worker, spending many years in retail sales, including more than ten years as an associate with Wal-Mart. Her family was her life, her pride, her joy and her entertainment. She was especially smitten by great-grandson Jaxson! Preceded in death by her father, Richard Hohenberger, Barbara is survived by her mother Ethel Hohenberger, daughter Angela Morgan and husband Scott, brother Ricky Hohenberger and wife Mary, sister Peggy Reed, grandchildren Shelby Baldwin and Travis Morgan, and great-grandson Jaxson James Baldwin.
