Obituary For Beatrice Baze

Beatrice Baze, 80, of Sherman, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at her residence in Sherman, Texas. surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Baze was born November 24, 1935 in Santa Barbara, CA to Adela Garcia and Erasmo Rodriques. On October 27, 1974, in Sherman, Texas she married Billy Joe Baze who preceded her in death July 8, 1994. She attended Greater Life Church and also Sherman Church of the Nazarene. She loved sewing, embroidering, reading, baking and was well-known as the "Pie Lady" and for her Peanut Brittle. She loved life on the farm and her chickens. She loved her Children, Grand Children, and Great Grand Children and she received great joy in styling her Grand Children's hair. She was truly a very loving caring person. She had worked as a Nurse's Aide in the San Antonio, Texas area in Wilson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Bonnie Mailloux; grandson, Kevin Berry; (2) Brothers and (3) Sisters. She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Stacy, of Euless, TX, and Connie Berry and husband, Don of Sherman, TX; step-sons, Ricky Baze of Collinsville, TX, and Randy Baze of Sherman, TX; (2) Grandchildren and (7) Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m.Tuesday evening, April 19, 2016 at Dannel Funeral Chapel of Sherman, Texas officiated by Rev. Bob Lothenore retired Nazarene Minister. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
