Obituaries

On October 4, 1944, Betty Diane Culy was born to Bob and Betty Culy of Sherman, Texas. She was raised in Sherman, graduated from Sherman High School and attended Grayson County College.

With a great love of music and the theater, she shared her talents at community events and traveled with the Grayson College choir and jazz band. She was active with the Sherman Community Players in a variety of areas. One of Betty Diane’s greatest joys was mentoring and traveling with the Zambian Boys Choir as they traveled the United States.

Diane left her earthly existence January 16, 2021. She is survived by two loving sisters, Jane Jones of N. Richland Hills and Peggy Parrish of Sherman. Nine nieces and nephews will miss their “Aunt Di”.
