My dear Betty had been my neighbor for nearly 30 years, before relocating a couple of years ago. Oh how I have missed her! Mike and Betty were always private people who minded their business, but when you became their friend, there was nothing they would not do for you! I loved going over and visiting with them, sitting with my cup of coffee, chatting with Betty, laughing over the sarcasm between Mike and I, just plain "sharing life" in the good and bad of it all. Mike named me her girlfriend. One thing I will remember the most is how Betty just loved doing things for me, like taking in my mail when I was away on a road trip. She always told me that she loved doing it for me and anything else I would "let her do." Whenever I pulled down the street in my Motorhome, she was right there with my sack of mail telling me she missed me. And I will surely miss her! THANK YOU, Betty, for being my true girlfriend! You are my protégé ! And, I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE NOW! I will see you there! In His Love, Donna Burk
