Graveside services for Betty Wood will be held at Cedarlawn Memorial Park on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 2:00 P.M.

Betty Jean Snell Wood, 81, of Allen, Texas, passed away September 14, 2023. She was born in Dallas, Texas on April 28, 1942, the daughter of Charles Snell and Emma Windom.

In her younger years Betty enjoyed riding around on a motorcycle. She loved eating, and was always positive, she never had a complaint. Betty loved her husband Ronald Wood and took care of him until he passed. Her family and friends were very important to her, and she enjoyed getting to travel and visit them.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Wood; parents Charles and Emma Snell; brothers, Arthur Snell, Dean Snell, Travis Snell, Charles Snell and sister Marie Thomas.

She is survived by nieces, Karen Jordan and husband David, Deana Martin and husband Jay and Carolyn Hart; nephews, Wayne Thomas and wife Jill and Ronnie Snell; great-niece, Crystal Mooney and husband Alex; great-nephew, Dakota Thomas and wife Paige; great-great niece, Kaylee Thomas; great-great nephew, Tripp Thomas; along with other nieces and nephews.
