Obituary For Beverly Johnson

Beverly Ann Johnson, 72, of Sherman, passed away at her home Saturday, December 14th. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Friendship Cemetery, with Bro. Bobby Layman officiating. Beverly was born in Whitesboro, TX, October 29, 1941. She attended schools in Whitesboro and graduated from Howe High School. She married Clifford Kenneth Johnson on December 24, 1959 in Dorchester, TX. He preceded her in death in June of 2012. Mrs. Johnson worked in sales at Montgomery Ward in Sherman, and later at Wilson N Jones Hospital as a Unit Clerk. Predeceased by her parents and her husband of fifty-two years, Mrs. Johnson is survived by her children: Kenneth Johnson of Sherman, Jon Johnson and wife Mindy of Denison, and Angela Runnels and husband Paul of Whitesboro; one sister, Mary Lazard of Kemp, TX; grandchildren: Cassie, Sean, Amber, Dalton, Jon Christopher, Jerilyn, Spencer, Mandi and Dorothy; and nine great-grandchildren.
