Billie Janette Jordan Baxter was called home to be with her Lord on November 23, 2022, one week before her 89th birthday.

Billie was born on November 30, 1933, in Howe, Texas, to Dallas and Cora Baker Jordan. She married George Warren Baxter on September 8, 1950, in Dallas, Texas. Billie was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.

Billie loved the Lord, and she loved people. She lived in Mesquite, Texas, for many years in the same house. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch with a glass of tea and talking to the neighbors. She enjoyed singing, especially Christian hymns.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by three children: Michael, Richard, and Pamela; four grandchildren: Veronica, George, Jeff, and Lauren; and three great grandchildren: Christian, Olivia, and Violet.
