A graveside service will be held for Billie Jo Talkington Smagula, 89, formerly of McKinney, Texas, who passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in Cedar Hill, Missouri, on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Scott Cemetery in McKinney. Pastor Leland Samuelson will officiate. Dannel Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Billie was born on August 4, 1931 in McKinney, Texas to Clyde and Lula Talkington. She had a strong faith and a belief in Jesus Christ. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas David Smagula who is interred in Arlington National Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Robbie S. Hollis and husband Stuart; 3 grandchildren: Greg Dennis, Hanna Hollis, and Rachael Hollis; 2 great grandchildren: Jacquelyn Dennis and Logan Dennis.
