Billy Eugene Dodson, 67, of Sherman, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. His family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23rd, at Dannel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Jack Lynn Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Folsom, Louisiana, at a later date. Mr. Dodson is survived by his daughters: Vanessa Steele, of Justin, TX, and Christina Russell, of Jensen Beach, FL; brother, Jack Lynn Dodson, of Van Alstyne, TX; sisters, Slavada Drake of Sherman,TX , Martha Rigsby, of Houston, TX, Mary Ellen Barnard, of Austin, TX, Blanche Wheems, of Sherman, TX, Ida Gayle Shaffer, of Sherman, TX , Lela Mae Carter, Megan Terrill, of Oklahoma; and 4 Grandchildren .
