Obituary For Brian Len Sisemore
Brian Len Sisemore, age 59, of Sherman, Texas passed away at his home on February 27, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 10am on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Akers Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. Arrangements are being handled by Dannel Funeral Home.
Brian was born on February 13, 1964 in Sherman, Texas to Lindol Houston Sisemore and Martha Jeanne Sisemore. Brian was raised in Sherman, Texas and graduated from Sherman High School. Brian worked for Fisher Controls in Sherman for nearly 40 years.
Brian was a collector of anything and everything and was a creature of habit, he did not like change. One of his favorite things to do was to get the old hot rod (1968 Chevelle) out and ride around. He loved fishing, guns and picking the guitar and had such a great love and appreciation for music. He would argue tooth and nail that Bigfoot exists and is out there somewhere.
His health had declined over the years, due to diabetes that he was diagnosed with in his teens. This prevented him from doing a lot of the things he enjoyed like riding his Harley and working on his hot rod. Brian came by Sisemore Services weekly and stocked the office candy dish with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Kit Kats for years. Everyone appreciated and enjoyed that sweet gesture. Brian was a Christian and was attending Grayson Bible Baptist Church regularly.
Brian was preceded in death by his mother (Martha Jeanne Sisemore) and father (Lindol Houston Sisemore). He is survived by his brother (Bradley Sisemore and wife Carrie of Pottsboro, Texas), Nephews (Holden Keenan of De Kalb, Texas and Scout Norris of Sherman, Texas), Niece (Emma Norris of Wichita Falls, Texas), Uncle (Ron Smith and wife Shelia of Sadler, Texas), Uncle (Larry Sisemore and wife De An of Sherman, Texas), Aunt (Martha Tate and husband James Tate of Sherman, Texas), Aunt (Dorothy Bartlett and husband Alden of Essex Junction, Vermont) as well as many cousins and other loving family members and friends.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or Grayson Bible Baptist Church Mission and Youth Program. The family would also like to thank everyone for their prayers during this time.
