Obituary For Brooke Elizabeth McLinsky

Brooke Elizabeth McLinsky, 31, passed away on November 26, 2022. She was born April 13, 1991, the daughter of Melissa Crossland and Brian E. McLinsky. She leaves behind her son, Aydan McLinsky, 13, daughter, Brooklyn McLinsky, 6, mother, Melissa Crossland and husband Mike, father, Brian E. McLinsky and wife Allison; siblings: sister, Ashley Nodier, brother, Brian T. McLinsky, sister, Laura Brooks and husband Joseph, sister, Jamie Crossland, sister, Jessica Miles and husband Jeff, brother, Tony Armahizer and wife Tiffany, sister, Katelyn McLinsky, brother, Zach McLinsky, grandparents: Sandra and Jamie Barnes, and Neva and Eddie McLinsky; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brooke was preceded in death by her nanny and papa, Bill and Diane Nodier.

A celebration of Brooke’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 6:00 PM at Dannel Funeral Home. There will be a reception following the service from 6:30 until 8:00 PM.

Brooke was born in Denison and raised in Sherman. She attended Sherman Schools and spent some time at Grayson College. She began a career in caregiving where she took care of many families and they loved her compassionate heart.

Brooke was an amazing mother to her 2 children, an amazing sister to her 8 siblings, and an amazing daughter. She lived every single day to the fullest, she did it her way! Her family was most important to her, always taking the time to visit everyone she could. Brooke was truly the most kind and loving person you could ever meet. She loved all kinds of music and tattoos. She was passionate about her children and making sure they knew how much their mom loved them and that they were safe. Brooke knew how to take care of people that needed it the most and she showed that in the way she lived her life. She was an extraordinary person, and she will be greatly missed by her family, her friends, and everyone who knew her.

    Brooke you were that different child and my little crazyness . You had a crazy mixture in your DNA that for sure ... You could've been a boy but you blossomed into a beautiful little girl then you became a young woman living life on the edge and having fun while you did it no matter where you were or who you were with or what you were doing ... You always had a wise crack to say for just about anything someone said especially if it was me .. You always had some corny joke that sometimes didn't make any sense at all but I still laughed at you not because of the joke but because of how you put so much into telling it .. I love you and miss you so much Lizard .. I just wished I would've been home when you came by the house I missed you by 30 mins maybe if I would've been home you might still be here with us ... Fly high Lizard and keep'em laughing up there ... I love you forever & always , Dad

    I remember as kids when you stay the night we always ended up on the trampoline with pillows and blankets looking at the stars talking about everything from the issues we were having with friends to planning the next day I loved our innocent days before highschool but man highschool was fun with you all the mischief we got into I'll never forget all our memories you gone wayyy to soon I don't think anyone has the ability to really believe your gone because you left a piece of you in everyone you ever encountered I miss your corky funny upbeat look on life I love you brooke I'll never forget you
