Obituary For Carl Hendrik

“May the angels meet you and lead you into Heaven!” Carl Hendrik, 74, went to join the angels on September 6, 2018. Loving husband to Janie Halbrook Hendrik for 54 years, they married on March 19, 1965 in McKinney, Texas. Born June 7, 1944 in Aubrey, Texas. He is survived by his wife Janie, daughter Janet Hendrik, granddaughter Caitlyn Moran; grandsons: Ricky Skipworth, Jr. and wife Deann, Joshua and Jenny Skipworth; great granddaughters: Taylor, Parker and Addyson Skipworth; brother and sister in law; Clarence and Linda Halbrook, brother in law Bob Holiday; several nieces and nephews and even more great nieces and nephews! Whom he loved dearly! He was preceded in death by his parents Porter and Juanita Hendrik, brother and sister in law Richard and Wendy Hendrik, sister Mary Sue Holiday, nephew Rocky Halbrook, sister and brother in law Kenneth and Betty Jean, brother in law V.C. Halbrook, sister and brother in law Garland and Patty James, sister and brother in law Julia and Jerry Rhodes, “Aunt Judy”. He started working at Texas Instruments in 1964 and worked for them and MEMC until he retired in 2000. Pallbearers will be Ricky Skipworth, Jr., Josh Skipworth, Harlan Owens, Tyler Hightower, V.C. Halbrook II, Joey Dillard. He will be laid to rest at Akers Cemetery. Family night will be September 7, from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM at Dannel Funeral Home. Services will be September 8 at 4:00 PM at Dannel Funeral Home. A special thank you to the staff at TMC 8th Floor and Grayson County Home Hospice. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy James, Michael James, Dennis Foster, David Hendrik Jr., Rick Skipworth Sr.
