Carole Wineinger passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Sherman, Texas.

She was born Carole John in Sherman, Texas to the late Tom and Helen John on November 15, 1940. She graduated from Sherman High School in 1959 and attended Austin College. She married Martin Wineinger on February 20, 1960.

Carole loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and filling her patio with flowers in the summer. She was a dedicated lover of animals, rescuing and caring for countless dogs, cats and wild animals over the course of her life. She passed that love on to her children who in turn influenced others to take care of animals in need. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Carole is survived by her husband Martin, her daughter Melinda Wineinger of Houston, Texas, her son Mike Wineinger and wife Rachanee of Hurst, Texas, her daughter Mitzi Wineinger of Fort Worth, Texas, her brother Tommy John of Dallas, Texas and three grandchildren Amy Wineinger of Dallas, Texas and Matthew and Andrew Wineinger of Hurst, Texas.

There will be a private Graveside Service at Friendship Cemetery in Sherman on Friday, August 27, 2021.
