Carolyn Marline Pendleton, 91, of Sherman, passed away on March 30, 2025 in Sherman, TX. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Carolyn Pendleton was born in Afton, Oklahoma to Everett Maples and Gladys Nelson on August 21, 1933. She married Ivy Martin Pendleton on April 21, 1956 in Ridgeland, South Carolina. She worked as a nurse for several years. Carolyn then obtained her Doctorate where she was a Child Psychologist. She was a military spouse of the Air Force for 21 years.

Carolyn Pendleton is preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Pendleton and her daughter, Pamela Onstott.

Carolyn Pendleton is survived by her Son Martin Pendleton of Durant. Grandchildren are Jeremie Westmoreland of Sherman, Zachary Reed of Sherman, Kaitlyn Onstott of Colbert, Billy Pendleton of Denison, Ronnie Pendleton and wife Christa of Sulpher Springs, Johnny Pendleton of Sherman, and Christina Cannon of Arlington. Great-Grandchildren are Sean Westmoreland and wife D’Ira, Seth Westmoreland, Charlotte Reed, Logan Reed, Greyson Curry, Janine Pendleton, Josie Pendleton, Easton Oldham.
