Obituary For Charlene Loving

Charlene Jane Loving, 85, of Sherman, passed from this life on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Family visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Dannel Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21st, at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Shawn Kemp, of Crossroads Community Church in Anna, will officiate. Charlene was born August 8, 1930, in Kenefic, OK, to Jesse L. and Alberta Rucker Medcalf. She was married to Charles L. Miller until his death in 1952. She later married Jack I. Loving and they enjoyed over 36 years together prior to his death in 1989. Charlene very much enjoyed needlework and crafts, and was also an avid stamp collector. She attended Crossroads Community Church in Anna. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands: Charles L. Miller and Jack Loving, two brothers: Henry Leon Medcalf and Forest Lee Medcalf. She is survived by her children: Charles R. Miller and wife Evelyn, of Anna, Neil E. Loving and wife Rhonda, of Sherman, Vernon Karl Loving, of Sherman, and Catherine Yvonne Quarles and husband Ricky, of Sadler; also six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her dog Rusty also mourns her loss. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Guardian Hospice team for their diligent care in Charlene's last days. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Guardian Hospice at 614 N. Travis in Sherman, TX 75090.

    Charles and Family...so sorry for the loss of your Mother. My Mom was Mozelle (Sis)Miller Martin Smith...your Dad's sister... and I remember you from years ago...asking God to provide peace and comfort during this difficult time.
