Charles Michael Deliteris, 73, of Sherman, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020, in Cartwright, Oklahoma due to injuries sustained in a car wreck.

Charles was born on September 11, 1946, in Anderson, South Carolina to Vincent and Jenny Mae Deliteris. The family moved eventually to Passaic, New Jersey. Upon graduating high school, Charles enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1965 and served in Vietnam from 1965-1967. He met and married his wife, Susan Lichtenberger in 1971. They had twin boys, Kelly and Kieth. Charles worked as a estimator in the auto body repair business his entire life. He was a life long Roman Catholic and upon retirement, he moved to Sherman, Texas. Charles loved everything about Texas as well as country music. Johnny Cash was among his favorite singers. He was an Italian Cowboy and proud of it! He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Charles is survived by his sons: Kelly Deliteris and wife Megan of Virginia, and Kieth Deliteris and wife Yong Cha of Georgia; wife, Susan Deliteris of Sherman; grandchild, Michael Deliteris of Georgia; two brothers: Ron and Rick Deliteris, and many extended relatives and friends.
