Obituary For Christopher Huffer

Christopher William Huffer went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2017 at the age of 37. Chris was a kind-hearted soul and a gentle spirit loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed watching sports, camping, boating, and programming. He was employed by DataRX as a Software Engineer in Denison, TX for five years. Chris is survived by his parents, Claude and Marilyn Huffer of Sherman, his best friend and brother Kevin Huffer and wife Jennifer, niece Shayla, and nephew Brett of Cypress, TX. He is also survived by his uncle Pat McAuliffe and wife Carol of Phoenix, and his aunt Lydia Huffer and uncle John Huffer of Virginia. He will truly be missed by all his friends and family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. Chris’ visitation will be held on Friday, April 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home, 302 S. Walnut, Sherman, Texas 75090. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15 at Akers Cemetery with Pastor George Cline of Grace Bible Church officiating. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church 4670 North Loy Lake Rd., Sherman, Texas 75092. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
