Obituary For Clara Hamilton

Clara Hamilton 89 year old DeBary FL resident passed away on Tuesday July 24 2012. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Monday July 30th at Dannel Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond England officiating. Interment will follow at Georgetown Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home on Monday morning at 11:00am. Clara was born July 14 1923 in Philadelphia PA to Raymond A. and Mary Elizabeth Stuart Shade. They lived in Philadelphia for several years and eventually settled in Sherman where Mr. Shade transferred and established the Military Police for the Army Base in downtown Sherman. He held the position of Captain and was also chief of Military Police for Camp Maxey. After moving to Sherman Clara worked for many years for Wonder Bread Company as their bookkeeper. She then moved to Houston TX where she worked in the Electronic Assembly Department for Schlumberger before she retired. After retiring she returned to Sherman to be near her family. She and her sisters shared a special bond and made several trips in their golden years back to their roots in Pennsylvania. Later on she moved to Florida to live with her daughter and remained there until her death. Clara was preceded in death by her parents husband George W. Hamilton in 1964 her brother Raymond A Shade Jr. and sisters Gladys Phares Grace Moore and E. Jean Covey. She is survived by her daughter Cathy Bradburry and husband Bill of DeBary FL grandsons Chris Bradburry and wife Rachel of Amarillo Daniel Bradburry and wife Jennifer of Dallas four great-grandchildren Rachel Ryan Reese and Parker. She is also survived by two sisters Joyce Carr and husband Bill of Whitesboro and Beatrice Harbison of Sherman and numerous nieces and nephews.
