Clovis Glenn Russell, 88, of Sherman, TX, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 in Sherman, TX.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Dannel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Dannel Funeral home with Arthur Horn, officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetary in Sherman, TX. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Clovis Glenn Russell was born in Durant, OK to Garland and Vera Russell on April 15, 1935. He went to school in Durant, OK. He married Lillian Russell on September 21, 1968. He worked for the City of Sherman for 20+ years. He was a veteran and served in the Air Force for 3 years.

Clovis Russell is preceded in death by his wife Lillian Russell, his parents Garland and Vera Russell, brothers Charles Russell, James Russell, Billy Russell, son in law Miguel Rangel, great grandson Preston Fuselier and great great granddaughter Brayvin Rangel.

Clovis Russell is survived by son Dominic Taraborelli, daughter Caroline Rangel, brother Vernon Russell, several nieces and nephews, grandchildren Joey Rangel, Donny Rangel, Johnny Rangel and wife Nikki Rangel, Diana Horn, 15 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joey Rangel, Donny Rangel, Johnny Rangel, Ethan Rangel, Nicholas Horn and Anthony Horn.
