The couple was married in Denison, Texas on September 6, 1963. They moved to Akron, Ohio where they raised their three children. Dallas retired in 1993 after working 36 years for the East Ohio Gas Company. Upon retirement, Dallas, Patricia and their youngest daughter moved to Sherman, Texas.
