Obituaries

Dalton Arnold, 80, of Sherman passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Texoma Health Care Center of Sherman, Texas. Mr. Arnold was born May 17, 1936 in Gordonville, Texas the son of Addie Love Stuckey Arnold and Leonard William Arnold. He attended Gordonville and Sherman Schools. On November 4, 1967, he married the love of his life Marjorie Nell Coggins and enjoyed many happy years together until her death on November 9, 2004. He was employed by Woodlawn Country Club in the Maintenance department for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marjorie Nell Coggins Arnold and a brother, Lawrence Arnold. He is survived by his sister, Jo Ellen Lang of Sherman, TX; brothers, Dale Arnold of Sadler, TX and Donald Lee Arnold and his wife, Dorothy of the Republic of Malta along with numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, TX.
