Darrell Allan Cantwell, 95 of Tyler Texas, passed away on November 14, 2022 in Tyler.

He was born 9/26/1927 in Sherman Texas.

Darrell was a member of the Sherman High School class of 1945 and attended both Schreiner University and Austin College in Texas. Darrell joined the US Navy and served during WWII. As he started his working career Darrell worked in the financial industry and loved his jobs over the years as he rose in position within the banking world. At the height of his business goals he became Bank President of Kaw Valley State Bank near Kansas City. After retirement, Darrell enjoyed genealogy research and spent countless hours pursuing this hobby he so enjoyed.

Darrell was preceded in death by his Mother Alice McDuffie Cantwell and Father R L Cantwell, wife Nancy, and children Patsy Lueking and Lindsey Cantwell.

Darrell was blessed with many living family members including his sister Lynette Campbell and her husband Richard as well as Dan Lueking, Darrell’s son in law as well as numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

A private burial is being planned for a future date. The family requests that Memorial donations be made, in lieu of flowers, to one of your favorite charities in his name.
