I loved David! He was my step-dad for 10 years but continued to be a friend and a relationship that I cherished 20+ years later. I could always count on him! He made an impact on my life and everyone that he met. He never met a stranger:). He will be greatly missed!

I first met David when my son and his grand son began playing football together. We sat beside each other at their practices.I didn't even know his name , but we enjoyed some great conversations every time. During all this I needed an appliance repaired. I askeed around about who did appliance repair in Pottsboro. Of course, everyone said David Payne. When I went on FB to find him I then realized what a dummy I was. Unfortunately he had stopped working at the time. I sure did like him a lot. I feel honored to call him a friend. My deepest condolonces go out to all of the family. He will surely be missed.
