Pop, You are gone from the worldly earth, but I know you live in eternity in Heaven. I know you are at peace, in perfect health and you rejoined your loved ones who entered the gates before you. That is my prayer for all of us, it is our peace and it is what I pray for our entire family, that one say we will also be standing with you in heaven. You showed me kindness, love, and acceptance. You left your best traits behind in your Son, and I am grateful every day for that. You gave your love and smiles to all of those you came in contact with. Thank you for your humor, and thank you for helping Mimi, raise a young boy, that would grow up to be a man with love, humor, honesty, hard work, and a moral compass like no other. John is like you in so many ways, and you will continue to live on in him, your daughters and Mimi. Thank you for also loving my children. May we all continue to strive to be more like you, to be better, to love unconditionally, to forgive, to let go, and make the most of the time we have left on the worldly earth. John 3:16 Love you Pop, Rest In Peace for eternity, I'll see you one day, GOD SPEED, as my Dad says, and he thought the world of you. Love, Courtney

Dave was office manager at Phyllis Browning for most of the years I worked there. He was kind, helpful, gentle and always encouraging in a most positive way! I probably lasted much longer at PBC because Dave Phillips was my boss! To this day, I recall the many "Davisms" , word of wisdom that he shared with us! Diana Morehouse

I'm heartbroken.... But I am so blessed to have known a man who could love his family so unconditionally and never pass judgment and was an inspiration to everyone he met. I can truly say that I never saw your Daddy without a smile (even when he was sad). I can't believe I met him 36 years ago. He never made anyone feel like a stranger. Supportive. Kind. Faithful. A wonderful sense of humor and would bend over backwards to make the kiddos laugh. One of a kind. Missed. Loved. And will never be forgotten. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 You had the best!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
