Obituary For Debbie Marie Robertson

Debbie Marie Robertson passed away peacefully on 5/31/2024 at her home in Van Alstyne, Texas surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, unwavering compassion, generosity and infectious enthusiasm for life. Born on 5/27/1962 in Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, to Richard and Janice Robbins. Debbie Marie Robertson was a beacon of light to all who knew her.

Debbie Marie Robertson worked in mortgage for 22 years for Great Western Financial. She left an incredible mark on all of those who worked with her along the way. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Debbie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was the cornerstone of her family, providing unwavering support, guidance, and love to all. Her presence illuminated every gathering, filling the room with warmth and joy.

She is survived by her husband Stanley Robertson, her two children Jeremy Bergstrom and Tania Bergstrom, her four grandchildren Cole Bergstrom, Zachary Bergstrom, Cooper Bergstrom, and Jake Bergstrom, her two brothers Mike Robbins and Robert (Bob) Robbins and her two sisters-in-law Teri Robbins and Lisa Robbins, and her daughter in law Ashley Bergstrom.

In her spare time, Debbie found solace in camping, crocheting, spending time with her two children and her four grandchildren, she also enjoyed spending time with all her friends who were like a second family to her and loved to rock in rocking chairs. She had one ferocious rock when she got that rocker going. No matter what the activity it was, she approached each activity with dedication and joy, finding fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life. Her zest for life was contagious, inspiring those around her to embrace every moment with gratitude and enthusiasm.

Debbie Marie Robertson will be deeply missed by her beloved family members and friends, who take solace in the memories of her love, laughter, and wisdom. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held on 6/22/2024 at 60 Hale Place, Van Alstyne, Texas at 2:00pm, reflecting on Debbie’s lifelong commitment to making the world around her a better place and the unwavering love for her family and friends.

As we mourn the loss of Debbie Marie Robertson, let us also celebrate the profound impact she had on our lives. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of love and kindness will endure for generations to come.
