Obituary For Diane Mae Mueller

In Loving Memory of Diane Mae Mueller (1961-2023).

Diane Mae Mueller, 62, current resident of Sherman, Texas, passed away on October 31st. She is now peacefully resting with our loving Lord and was called home surrounded by family. Diane was born on April 25, 1961 to Teddy Johnson and Margaret Wilson in Alexandria, Louisiana. She grew up in Campbell, Texas where she fostered a love for riding horses with her best friend, Kate Renshaw. Diane graduated from Campbell High School and explored many professional avenues in her life, including long-haul trucking and being a deputy clerk at the Hunt County Clerk’s Office.

Diane welcomed her beloved daughter, Dallas Marie Wilburn, into the world on December 26, 2000, and was constantly devoted to her love and success. In her later years, Diane’s joys included cheesy romance movies, former family dog Winchester, and coffee. Her family will always remember her endearing stubbornness, her shyness in front of a camera, and the love and dedication she showed for everyone.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Ted and Edna Norfleet, uncle Charles Johnson, aunt Sue Hatfield, and former spouse Tommy Wilburn. She is survived by her daughter, Dallas Wilburn, parents Ted Johnson and Margaret Wilson, and siblings Sherry Fangio, Stanley Johnson, and Jeffrey Johnson. She will be missed by an extensive network of extended family and friends.

Her family would like to extend gratitude for all who prayed for Diane during her long journey and may we all be assured by the comfort she has now found in the warm embrace of heaven.

Current plans for a celebration of life are still in progress with more details to come. Friends of Diane or the family can reach out to her daughter or sister for more information.

My beloved redhead! The memories I have would fill a book! I was there when her sweet daughter, Dallas, was born. And all the "boot scooting" we did I love you my dear girl! I love all of your family as well!
