Doris Jackie Dishner, 91, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at The Homestead of Sherman. Her family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 Friday evening, July 10th, at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon in Dannel Funeral Chapel. Rev. Michael Moody - Jackie's grandson - will officiate. Interment will follow immediately afterward in West Hill Cemetery. Jackie was born March 10, 1924, in Ruddles, Arkansas, to Cecil and Fannie Tinkle Morris. She married William S. Dishner August 13, 1945. They enjoyed over fifty years together before his death in 1996. Jackie retired from Texas Instruments after many years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Bill Morris and sister Josephine Morris, Jackie is survived by her son, Dr. William S. Dishner, Jr., of Scottsdale, AZ; his daughters Ann Moody, of Denison, and Kay Goodwin, of Bells; brother Raymond Morris, of Siloam Springs, AR; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
