Obituary For Dorothy Fritts

COLLINSVILLE -A graveside funeral service for Dorothy N. Fritts, 81,of Collinsville, Texas, will be held at 10a.m. on February 17, 2017 at Collinsville Cemetery. Bro. Dan Lindsay will officiate the service. Services are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman. No formal visitation is planned. Dorothy passed away on February 11, 2017 at Whitesboro Nursing Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Dorothy was born Jan 11, 1936, to Charles Columbus Tyler and Lola Elizabeth Cook Tyler. She was married to Joe S. Fritts on August 22, 1953 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She is survived by 3 sons, Joey Fritts of Sherman, James Fritts of Collinsville and Jarrod Fritts and wife, Martha of Gunter; a daughter, Lisa Leath and husband, Rodney of Collinsville; grandchildren, Krista Richardson, Corey Leath , Chloe Fritts and Kinsey Fritts; great-grandchildren, Taylor Hill, Rowdy Bates and Wyatt Leath and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Also survived by three sisters: Kathleen Provence Lusk and husband Jim of Collinsville, Melba Tyler Melton of Collinsville, Glenda (Tootie) Tyler of Collinsville, and two brothers: Donald Tyler of Whitesboro, and Jack Tyler and wife Rebecca of Ft. Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Columbus Tyler and Lola Elizabeth Cook Tyler and one sibling.
