Obituary For Elizabeth White

Elizabeth Ann White, 82, died unexpectedly on December 3, 2015, at Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center in Sherman, TX. Family visitation is scheduled from 6:00-8:00 pm. Tuesday, December 8th, at Dannel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9th, at Western Heights Church of Christ in Sherman. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Elizabeth's life and love of the Lord. Interment will follow immediately afterward in Highland Cemetery in Durant, OK. Elizabeth was born February 24, 1933, in Lark, Oklahoma, to Robert 'Buster' Lee Bearden and Viola 'Littlin' Pardue Bearden. She graduated from Russett High School in Oklahoma. She later received her business degree. She worked for Wilson N. Jones hospital, in Sherman, retiring after 18 years. Her greatest joy was being a good wife, momma, and grandma. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies in Sherman, TX. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Leland Leon Covington, daughter Kimberly Beth Spurlock, and one sister Nell Bancewicz. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Clarence White; children: Jerry and Cindy Covington of Belt, Montana, Richard and Jan Covington of Allen, Texas, Tonya and Earnie Olin of Alpharetta, Georgia, Rhonda and Robert Pickney of Hugo, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ted and Wendel Bearden; sisters, Barbara Burns and Deborah Moore.
