Thinking about all of you. I always enjoyed talking with him about farming and old time tractors. Know that you are all in my thoughts. Tim

Mary Claire, I'm so sad to hear of Scott's passing. He was such a wonderful husband and father. I have thought of you often over the years and our friendship we shared while teaching at Southside Jr. High. I can also remember well CeCe riding my daddy's school bus when she began school in Ringgold. I remember your sweet, handsome boys, too, and your Woodardville home. After Billie McCarthy's (my dear sister) passing, I haven't returned to Ringgold/Woodardville. Sis would always tell me when she got to see you and keep me up to date on Ringgold happenings while she was living in Castor. I have lived in Knoxville, TN since 1986 and retired from teaching in 2011 after a 38 year career. I will be praying for your entire family, Mary Claire. May God extend His endless comfort and love to you all.

Scotty gave me my first job, milking cows. I had a lot of good memories from that. I'll always remember the taste of the fresh whole milk from the bulk tank. None sweeter. He was a good person

So sorry for your loss. Scott will be missed. We met Scott and Mary Claire in Sunday school. Always enjoyed being with Scott and his witty sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jerry and Mary Smith

My fondest memories of Scott occurred not only at Sunday School, where he and Mary Claire were often present, but at Fairview Park, where he walked many mornings (some time ago) with Penny, his wonderful Weimerimer. Mary Claire too! His favorite jersey was purple, of course, and he always had a good word to say for LA! He made time to stop and share a kind word. I will remember his generous spirit, his fondness for the outdoors, and how gloriously he always referred to Mary Claire! He will be missed. Sympathies to all in the family. My love to you, Mary Claire! Margie Morris
