Floyd Dean Bowling, 77, of Whitesboro, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 10:00am, in the Dannel Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Kelly Gray of the Apostolic United Pentecostal Church in Whitesboro will officiate. The family will greet friends on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas. Dean was born in Collinsville, Texas on April 24, 1943, to Joe and Lottie Fay Woods. He married Linda Lee Howard on September 9, 1961. She preceded him in death on June 12, 2007. Dean was a member of the Travis Masonic Lodge #117 and took great pride in being a mason. He loved his family and he will be greatly missed. Dean is survived by his children: Sonny Dean, Connie Lee, Judy Michelle, and Ricky Leroy; grandchildren: Amber, Jeffrey, Ashley, Samantha, Justin, Cody, Megan, Tiffany, Heather, Breanna, Zachary, Wyatt, Chandler, Bentley, Annabella, Tommy, Kevin, and Keesha; great-grandchildren: Don, Jay W., Betty Jo, Dovie, Nona, Jonnie Ruth.
