Obituary For Frances Lusk

Frances Talbot Lusk passed away January 5, 2017 in Schleicher County Nursing Home in Eldorado, TX at the age of 97 years. Frances was born February 19, 1919 in McKinney, TX the youngest of six children to Ward and Annie Moseley Talbot. Most of her earlier years were spent in Collin County, in Princeton and Wylie. She graduated from Boyd High School in McKinney, married Basil Lusk April 5, 1939 and after the birth of two sons the family moved to Denton. She spent several years as buyer at Russell's Department Store until the family relocated to Sherman. There she worked for 20 years with Montgomery Ward Catalogue Dept. retiring in 1975. She moved to San Angelo, TX in 1999 to be near family. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother (Fitzhugh Talbot of Gainesville), sisters (Gladys Covington of McKinney, Cora Norman of Blythes Chapel, Allah Sanders of Wylie, Geneva Talbot of McKinney/Sherman), and infant granddaughter, Larah Lusk. She is survived by her son, Dr. Gene Paul Lusk (wife Mary Lou Duke Lusk) of San Angelo, TX and their sons, Ward Lusk, wife Mindy, (their sons Grayson, Walker, and Davis), Paul Lusk and wife Nicole, of Houston (their son Corbin, and daughters Allison and Madalynn). She is also survived by another son, David T. Lusk (wife Donna Ferguson Lusk) of Luella, TX and their daughters, (Raley Lusk Pribble (husband Mike) their children Kyle, Kristopher, and Kaley, daughter, Shelley Lusk Giddens, (husband Brad) and their children, Timothy, Megan, Abigail, and Erin; daughter, Bethny Lusk Coates, (husband Danny), their children, Benjamin and Madison, and 8 great great grand children. She lived a full and dedicated Christian life. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ in Sherman worshipping with the Walnut St., Travis St., and Western Heights congregations. Funeral services will be at Dannel Funeral Home 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 7th with burial at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, TX. Mike Pribble and Brad Giddens will be officiating.
