Obituaries

Frances P. Sutherland age 95 passed away April 28 2012. She spent the last few weeks at TMC but had recently been moved back to Texoma Specialty Care Center where she died peacefully under the loving care of Guardian Hospice and the many nurses and staff there. Frances had spent the last 11 years as a resident of Texoma Specialty Care Nursing Home. She left many friends at this location and was respectfully known as "Mom". She loved animals and always had at least one dog and cat in her home. She was a retired Air Force Wife and as such saw many interesting places in the world as well as the Uninted States. Frances was a long time member of the Central Christian Church of Sherman. She had not had the opportunity to attend services for many years but her heart was still with the membership. Frances was survived by her loving son John (Freddy) Brevelle three adopted daughters Karen aleta Ronning of Aberdeen S.D. Vanessa Gale Kringen of Minot N.D. and Karyn Marie Doyle of Ladonia Texas. She had numerous grand children great grand children and great great grand children. Her grand daughter Beverly Jackson spent many hours with her at the hospital and Nursing Home prior to her death. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Southerland and her son James L. Brevelle. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Pm Monday April 30 2012 at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman. Graveside services will be conducted at West Hill Cemetery at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 1 2012. with pastor Gary Gibbs of The First Christian Church of Van Alstyne Texas presiding.
