Friendship is a blessing, and to all who have a friend, It's one of the most precious gifts that life could ever send. You've given friendship meaning in a way that's all you own, With the special gift And talents that belong to you alone, and I know that of the blessings I could hope for life to send ,None could make me happier than knowing you're my friend. ~ Liliane Ganapamo, Mandeville, Louisiana

I have many good memories of Gary along with Larry, Rocky, and Jimmy. They were in and out of our house all the years we lived in the country together. I enjoyed the pictures Gary showed on FB of him and Baheti, esp her polishing his nails and making hairbows. He loved his family!! RIP Gary! ~ Kathy Drake, Rattan, Oklahoma

Gary was one of the best friends I had growing up in Howe. We not only went to school together, but to church. His family was very special to us. My father was especially proud to have the Hawthorne family in his church. I will be forever grateful for his friendship and for the memories we shared as kids. ~ Paul Johnson, Rogers, Arkansas
