Gary Lee Smith, 59, of Sherman, passed away at his residence Monday, April 14th. No services are planned at this time. Mr. Smith was born September 8, 1954, in Marion, MO., to James Paul Smith and Nathaleen Copenhaver. He worked as a truck driver until disability demanded early retirement. On January 27, 2001, he married Diana Hernandez in St. Augustine, FL. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Diana, two step-daughters Brenda Paiz and Ericelda Paiz, twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
