Obituary For Glenda Teichman
Glenda (Nix) Teichmann age 69 a well known Real Estate Broker of Grayson County passed away at Texoma Medical Center on October 26 2012 after a long battle with diabetes. Services will be held at the Dannel Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday October 30th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bobby Hancock of Georgetown Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Pallbearers will be Donnie White Richard Ferguson James Rigdon Chris Dudley Leon Harris and Chris Abbott. Visitation will be held on Monday October 29 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home. Glenda was born "Glenda Faye Lester" to parents John Daniel Lester and Kathleen Richardson Lester Pulley on August 22 1943 in Florence Alabama. She served in the U.S. Army from 1962 until 1964. Glenda married Jerry W. Nix in 1970 in Florence AL and they moved to Sherman in 1979. He passed away in 1998. Glenda founded Nix Properties around 1986. Glenda was always extending a helping hand to those in need. She was a very giving person and will be so very missed by all those in the community who knew her. She married Vincent Teichmann in Denison in 2011. The most precious thing to Glenda was her only son Shone and her three granddaughters which she would always tell them "Granny will take all the hugs and kisses that you will give me" and "Granny wuvs u so much." Her words of encouragement and wisdom were never ending. Her grandchildren knew "Granny" would give them whatever they wanted. Hide and go seek was her favorite game to play with them right up to the very end. Mrs. Teichmann was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Danny Lester. Survivors include her mother Kathleen Pulley husband Vincent Teichmann son Shone Nix and wife Tina grandchildren, Lynsi Nix Kaedyn Nix and Brynlee Nix.
