Goldie Marie Galloway, 85, of Sherman, passed away Wednesday, May 21st, at Beacon Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Denison. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27th, at Dannel Funeral Chapel in Sherman. The family will receive friends in the chapel one hour prior to the service. Goldie was born July 3, 1928, in Gainesville, TX, to L.L. Galloway and Juny Young Galloway. She attended Gainesville schools. She was a homemaker, worshipped in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and she was an avid reader. Goldie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and daughter Juanita Chamberlain. She is survived by her daughter Karen Lindsey of Tom Bean, Texas, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
