I am his sister, Bonny Gay . When he joined the Air Force, he was station at McCord base, near Tacoma, Washington. My memory was about him rebuilding his Harley.. I Came home from work and opened up the garage to drive in..Whoops what, he had his Harley in pieces..everything laid out, every nut bolt muffler seat..OMG..what a sight..I believe he had it all put back together in just a few days.. He loved his Harley. He once told me I could take it for a ride..If I could kick it over. No chance of that. I certainly did love him. ❤️

I am Nancy-Joy Gregs oldest sister. Thinking back I remember Greg and Jr. playing under the BIG umbrella Maple tree in our backyard (in Lamoni) they had a real deal going with a town made of dirt and mud. Mounds they created with their toy machines and a small lake and pretend trees created with uprooted weeds they found appropriate. they spent hours working, playing together and being happy. they would have been about 6 or 7 years old I think. I would have been about 14. Gregory was fearless and brave he was one to stand his ground when he knew he was right. The two boys also played cowboys and indians, we, all 5 of us played ball in our backyard with our neighborhood friends and a family pet named "Andre" who fielded stray balls. Of course there was the hide and seek game and freeze tag we all participated together playing weekly during the summer. During the summer Mom took us to the local library and gave us an appreciation of the written word. Greg was super intelligent and full of information about a multitude of subjects. He as I remember, as an adult would call me and during the conversation would tell me I should read a certain book about various things. One time it was to read about the Welch people because that is part of our ancestry. He loved his Harley motorcycle and made my hair stand on end with his stories of going 100 mph or more on a closed interstate covered in ice! He was a man I was proud to call brother and I loved him and will always miss him. As adults life happened and we went our sperate ways. always connecting at different times. The last days of his life we talked and reconnected by phone. He was a amazing man who I feel lived life to its fullest. I Love you Greg I know you are now pain free and happily reunited with Jr. and Larry. I will end this memory with "See you Later" Love and Light to you, your big sister Nancy-Joy.
