Obituary For Helen Margaret Montgomery

Services for Mrs. Montgomery are pending at this time.

Helen was born on January 20, 1947 to Nicholas and Margret Ortez. Helen was a strong, caring person with a heart of gold. She would do anything to help a person in need. She loved animals. She enjoyed cross stitching, doing arts and crafts, and being social with everyone. She would go up to a total stranger and have conversations with them with no problem. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a devoted wife of 54 years.

Helen is survived by her daughter Jennifer Montgomery of Sherman, her sisters, Rose Woosley and Mary Nelson of Sherman, her brothers Mickey and Robert Ortez also of Sherman, her grandchildren, Ashyley and Paul Reavis of Sherman, and great grandchildren Zakir and Zoya.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Montgomery, sister Connie Ortez, her parents Nicholas and Margret Ortez, and her son, Paul Montgomery II.

    So sorry to hear of Helen passing. In high School we spent a lot of time together both at school and at each others home. I have thought of her so many times in the last few years. She was a wonderful friend and I know she will be missed by so many of her family. I am sending prayers to her family and will keep them in my prayers. Cathye Wilson Ballou
