Graveside services for Indie V. Palmer, 84, of Sherman, who passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at her home will be held Friday, November 18th at 3pm at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8pm on Thursday at Dannel Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Wood of West Sherman Baptist Church will officiate Indie was born on April 29, 1932 in Pleasant Grove, Mississippi, to George and Mabel Blann. She was raised in Pinola County, Mississippi and attended Sardis High School. She moved to Texas in 1954 and then to Grayson County in 1955. She began working at Texas Instruments in 1966 and married Billy Mack Palmer on March 24, 1967. She continued to work at TI until her retirement in 1994. She attended West Sherman Baptist Church from 1977 until her passing. She loved to watch football, she loved her church and she loved her family. She will be missed. Indie was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Mack, her parents, two brothers; James (Bubba) Blann, and Steve Blann, sister; Linda Blann Jeffreys. She is survived by her children: Claire Parker of Sherman, David Palmer of Sherman, and Keith Palmer of Dallas. Memorials may be made to the Michael J.
