Ivy Martin Pendleton, 93, of Sherman, passed away on June 3, 2023 in Sherman, Texas.

There will be a graveside service at Cedarlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Ivy Pendleton was born in Marionville, Missouri to Lena Pendleton on October 22, 1930. He married Carolyn Marlene Maples on April 21, 1956 in Ridgeland, South Carolina. He worked for Texas Instruments for 20 years and he was a Reserve Sheriff for Grayson County. He was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War where he served as a Decorated Master Seargant in the Air Force for 21 years.

Ivy Pendleton is preceded in death by his mom, Lena Pendleton and his daughter, Pamela Onstott.

Ivy Pendleton is survived by his wife Carolyn Pendleton of Sherman. Son Martin Pendleton of Durant. Grandchildren are Jeremie Westmoreland of Sherman, Zachary Reed of Sherman, Kaitlyn Onstott of Colbert, Billy Pendleton of Denison, Ronnie Pendleton and wife Christa of Sulpher Springs, Johnny Pendleton of Howe, and Christina Cannon of Arlington. Great-Grandchildren are Sean Westmoreland and wife D’Ira, Seth Westmoreland, Charlotte Reed, Logan Reed, Greyson Curry, Janine Pendleton, Josie Pendleton, Easton Oldham.
