Dr. Jack Errington Morgan, age 90, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016. Jack was born in Bonham, Texas on January 14, 1926 to Bertha Hundley and Len Morgan. He graduated from Bonham High School, Southern Methodist University and Baylor Dental School. He served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War. Jack practiced dentistry in Sherman from 1951 to 1991. He was an active member of the Texas Dental Association, Academy of Dentistry International and Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Jack was also an elder at First Presbyterian Church of Sherman. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sherman. He is survived by his wife, Betty Dean Morgan, of Sherman, TX; daughters Kathy Brown of Sherman and Karen Funk of Oklahoma City, OK; Grandchildren, Lindsey Mullen and Weston Brown of Sherman, TX, Ryan Funk of Houston, Rachel Funk of Oklahoma City, OK; Great Granddaughter Bristol Mullen and Sister-in-law Mrs. Len Morgan of Bonham. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and grandson Jason Dean Brownlee. Jack especially loved gardening, working in his yard, tending his flowers and visiting with his friends.
