Obituary For Jackie Alvarez

Jacqueline "Jackie" Rose Alvarez peacefully left this physical world on 04 August 2018. Lovingly she blessed her beloved Frank E. Alvarez Sr. with 57 years of marriage. Caringly she grew together with her sister Donna. Passionately she gave her complete self to her six children Frank Jr., Marc, David, Kim, Penny, and Cindy. Graciously she opened her arms and welcomed five new children Leon, Chi Wei, George, Laurie and Kenneth into her family. Wisely she raised her 13 grandchildren Jordan, Luke, Alexandra, Noah, Joshua, Jonah, Micah, Zachary, Frank III, Hope, Lani Grace, Isabella, and Braxton. She selflessly volunteered her time to Columbian Ladies of Council 1289 Knights of Columbus, Grayson County Right to Life, Grayson County Republican Women, and Pottsboro Lions Club. Everyone is made in God's image, and most of us are not fortunate enough to learn what we represent to others about God. Jacqueline was without any doubt or reservation God's exact image of unending love. No matter what you did, no matter how long it had been and no matter who you were, she showed you love. There was nothing in her life that didn't express this. From the food she passionately cooked, to the time she took out of her day to help you with anything you asked, and even finding time to feed the birds (even while traveling in the car), Jacqueline was God's love. There wasn't anything she would fail to do for you; except if that conflicted with Saturday mass. In that case, it was scheduled before or after. If there was anything that causes us joy, it's that she will be happily reunited with her family in heaven. While it pains us to lose you, we are excited for your reception by your parents, son David and grandchildren Joshua and Zachary at heaven's gates. Enjoy your time with St Francis of Assisi taking care of all the animals. Don't get too excited about meeting St Jude; he's still busy trying to catch up to all of your prayers. We miss you Jackie, mom, nanny; Your example of love is what we will always carry forward with us. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Vincent de Paul of St. Mary's Church. Services will be Saturday August 11th 1:00p.m. at St. Mary's Church. A meal will be served at 11:30am prior to the service at the church and all are welcome. You may sign the online guestbook at www.Dannelfuneralhome.com.
